Group

  The people I will be working with for my task are Zane Knapp, Ben Polsky, and Luke Hamill. I have known Zane for about 8 years. I have known Luke for about 5 years. I have known Ben for about 2 years. I have worked Zane and Luke before on Aice Media Studies AS projects so we have good chemistry and work well together. When I worked with them I think we made some very quality films. We are also all good friends which has its pros and cons but makes it easier for us to communicate. Overall as a group, if we all focus we can be very productive and produce quality work. Another thing I like about my group is that we all fit together and have our own qualities that contribute to making good projects. For example, I am a good cameraman and I am good at incorporating camera angles correctly. Zanes outgoingness and energy makes him a good actor for films. Zanes family also has extensive acting experience which can help zane be a better actor too. Luke passion of movies can be applied to our film as he can be good at directing the film. Luke also has lots of costumes that can be used for films. Ben is very creative which is really important to the success of the group. We have also learned a lot about film making since last year. I think if we combine all of our qualities together we can make very good projects. Overall, I think we will work together well and I am excited to work with this group.

 One more effort of editing from me was needed for this project. I was tasked with applying filters to the film.  For many of the clips, I looked through all the filters the editing software had to offer. In most clips I wanted to use a filter that made the picture darker to show the mood in the bank robbery scenes. For some clips it was difficult to find a good filter to express what i wanted to express from the filter into the film. I think I found the right filters though. I believe i utilized them correctly as well. I also had to adjust the color grading in the film. This was a confusing and sophisticated thing I had never done before. So I went to YouTube to learn. After some practice of some other videos, I was able to color grade my film. I strived towards making certain pictures more prominent and bright in the film to bring out the energy and intensity that a action film has to offer. My product aimed to represent the complexities and struggles of being a teenager. The combination of lots of free time and financial incapabilities can put teens in lots of trouble or situations that they don’t think they would end up in. The film aimed to show the stereotypical chaotic teenage boys and struggles they usually encounter. The film emphasizes the issue behind too much free time for teenagers which can get teens into trouble. It is healthy for teenagers to have jobs, hobbies, or play sports. These activities keep teens out of doing risky activities in their free time. Another social group that my film represented was the socioeconomic struggles the teens faced. The socioeconomic struggles the teens faced prevented them from doing things that normal teenagers can do. Production Blog- Editing

 Another day of working on our music video today was filming. We now have to edit the clips and put them all together after we've finished filming. It was a lot easier to edit because we had all of our best clips in one folder. One of the things we had to do was arrange the clips according to the plan. In the storyboard, we had previously figured out the order of the scenes. The music was then added to the video. We added the song pompeii to the music video's audio because that's the song we're making a music video for. The audio from all the other clips was then removed, leaving only the song's audio. Following that, we reduced each footage. Each clip was cut to fit the music and the tempo. We also cut it down to match the time constraints of the music video. We did this by trimming a few seconds off the end of each clip or removing scenes where we went out of character at the end of a scene and didn't stop recording in time.
