My product aimed to represent the complexities and struggles of being a teenager. The combination of lots of free time and financial incapabilities can put teens in lots of trouble or situations that they don’t think they would end up in. The film aimed to show the stereotypical chaotic teenage boys and struggles they usually encounter. The film emphasizes the issue behind too much free time for teenagers which can get teens into trouble. It is healthy for teenagers to have jobs, hobbies, or play sports. These activities keep teens out of doing risky activities in their free time. Another social group that my film represented was the socioeconomic struggles the teens faced. The socioeconomic struggles the teens faced prevented them from doing things that normal teenagers can do. Genres We are Interested In

  Today marks the beginning of our groups genre research! In order to gain a better understanding of what we want our film to encapsulate, we organized a plan to research different genres of film and pick out which genre best suited the concept of our film. The three genres that we have decided to research and pick from are thriller, action, and sci-fi. These genres have a variety of differences and we want to make sure that we pick the genre that will best fit our movie, so we began work researching all of them. Our research plan was to first research the different movies that were associated with each genre and see if they had a similar concept to the concept we had for our movie.
