Music Video Intro Blog

     Hello I'm Cayden McTighe. I am a sophomore at Fort Lauderdale High School. I have a 22 year-old brother and a 18 year-old sister. My brother goes to a small college in New York and my sister will be attending college soon. I also have family scattered across the country. I play football for the Fort Lauderdale JV team. I am the starting quarterback. I been to many different football camps in the past couple years. One year I went to the Miami Dolphins academy camp and my team won the whole tournament. I choose to be in AICE Media Studies because my sister said it was a very fun and interesting class. I enjoy playing basketball, football, and video games in my free time. I have been playing football since about first grade. I also have recently starting learning about the stock market. When I get into college I want to major is something business related or sports management. Another thing, I really enjoy doing is watching football. I am a very big Miami Dolphins fan. I enjoy analyzing and applying football analytics. My favorite movie is Spider Man 2. My TV show is Teen Titans go.

  First Scene-   In the first scene, the camera will be focused on the football field and the actor will walk into the frame. He will be walking in with a bottle of Gatorade and set it down on the field. He will be preparing to kick a field goal and a football will be placed around the center of the field. He will walk up to the ball and be looking towards the goal posts.    Second Scene-   The camera will now go to the back of the actor and the actor will step back from the ball preparing to kick. Music Video Research Blog

My group is doing a music commercial. The genre is Alternate rock snyth-pop The music videos range from 3-5 minutes. We started the research by watching a range of music videos. There are multiple close up and far shots in all music videos. These shots help show the scenery as well as the singers facial expressions. The camera also has serval POVS and pans so we can see the scenery.  CLAMPS: The costumes seems to be cheap and your average clothes. There is nothing that makes these music videos pop out. The lighting defers from scene to scene as some is lit by the sun or perhaps lit by the city lights. The actors lip sing in some scenes and in others it plays over the background. Some props are used such as cars, bikes, food, drinks. There are several different settings. Throughout most of the music videos the main actors/singers are alone.
